EMERGENCY ECONOMIC STABILIZATION ACT EFFECT:
FDIC, NCUA Insurance Coverage Changes go into Effect Immediately
With the Emergency Economic Stablization Act signed into law on October 3, changes to both the FDIC and NCUA insurance coverage go into effect immediately and expiring on December 31st, 2009. To help you make sure you are ready from a training perspective, we've gathered information from the FDIC and NCUA that will help you be ready to:
- Distribute literature to your customers about the changes using downloadable documents
- Display the appropriate signage with downloadable signage and posters
- Inform you about the details of the changes to the insurance coverage
