At 1st Financial Training, we want you—the nation's trainers—to express your generosity. We'll supply the money, and all you have to do is find a way to spend it. You can make a difference.
Here's $100: Make a Difference with Bankers Care & ShareTM
As bankers, we're wise when it comes to investing money. Let's pool our resources—a charity in your area and $100 from 1st Financial coupled with your time and talent—to show the world that bankers do really care & share.
You're invited to participate in an industry-wide charitable event—Bankers Care & ShareTM. The project is based on the pay-it-forward principle.
The Goal: Help as many people as possible by helping someone in need and then passing it on & on & on.
Here's how it works:
Step 1:
Sign up to participate; give us the name of the charity—it could be a family, a school, a group or some new project—you have in mind and we'll send you a check for $100. If you want to participate but can't think of anything, see the list to the right for ideas. Use any of these or create your own. You're in charge!
Step 2:
In the 3-4 months after you receive the money, our staff will check in with you to find out what you did & how you did it.
You don't need to write a report about your project. One of our staff writers will interview you by phone, write up your success story & send it to you to ensure the story is accurate.
Step 3:
We'll create a press release for your local media telling how you, your co-workers and your institution invested a small amount of money ($100) to benefit a community, national or worldwide project. You, your co-workers and your institution get all the credit.
